Junk Debt Collector Midland Funding thru Finkelstein, Kern, Steinbert & Cunningham

I received a call from the office of Finkelstein, Kern, Steinbert & Cunningham threating to sue me so I begin making monthly payments to them which they advised me to make out to Midland Funding LLC. However, a few months later they entered a vol non suit without prejudice in a non official document (that look like a real court document) in the month of January of this year and I just discovered that this month because disputed the debt. They recently sent me a letter stating that they filed a vol non suite (dated Aug 8) and it also stated that they would be submitting it in a court document. what can I do to get back all the payments from January until August?
