In Nov. 2009 I lost my job the company I worked for lost their grant money because they did not handled their funds appropriate and was shut down.I had to write letters to attain my unemployment through investigation I received my unemployment in Mar.2010 by that time Verizon sent my bill to collections AFNI,Inc I call told them what happen the original bill was 269. they ask could I send 213.59 top pay off the bill and that what I did 4/10.
I get my credit report 2012 and they have me down as serious delinquent and that the bill was a write off when I paid them the amount they requested to satisfy the bill. How do I get this taken off my credit report. even though all three scores are the seven hundreds I'm getting turned down for loans because of AFNI.

The negative listing won???t be taken off from your credit report. It will be there on your credit report for 7 years. Have they updated the account status on your credit report? If not, then you can ask them to update the account status.

Lenders are turning down your loan applications because they don't think that you're a responsible borrower.
