Is everything on your credit report all you have in collections?

Hey guys im new to the forum here, just looking for the best possible answer. I have a bad history from about the age of 22, my employment was so unsteady and now I have a good job and want to get my history cleared up. I went ahead and got a free credit report, I do see a lot of "charged offs" and getting a sick feeling, but I want to get taken care of what I can, while I still can.
So when you get that free credit report, is that everything that you have/had in collections?
Thanks for any help guys!
