a few months ago after reporting my neighbor upstairs for load music, vommiting, druken behavior, and reporting to management that the illicet drug use and prositution that consumes this place after darkfall, management offered to let me out my lease, signed off on it stating mr mikey"" will not be held liable for move out cost or remander of lease, have the conversation taped, and have my deposits returned. the problem is now im filing bankruptcy and found a 5,000 dollar balanc owed on credit report, obviously they are commiting fraud and i can prove it. how do i go about it? Very smart of you to record and keep records of this. If the leasing company refuses, then you can file your own disputes with the bureaus. Ask your bk attorney about a possible lawsuit against these guys as well, you might be able to get a nice settlement if they refuse to delete after your first request.
