Perhaps someone could proof the entries for the Question of the Month and delete the submissions that are SPAM.

It makes us look kind of stupid to post SPAM entries for voting.

OG thanks for pointing. We deleted those from the thread.

You are right KS. Apart from the obvious ones the best way out is to discuss it here before taking any action else we will be in a situation where one moderator will delete a particular post thinking it to be spam, another mod will think otherwise. OG, I remember you sending me a pm regarding few posts you thought, were not spams but other mods did. You even showed few examples.

I want to add to the spam pile.....

I think that posts containing obviously false information should be deleted and counted as spam as well. Spam is mindless crap posted to disrupt the normal intended flow of the forum....so, when a shill comes in and posts "PAY YOUR DAMN BILLS YOU DEADBEAT", that post contains not one useful word for our members. We have had these shills post telling people that a debt collector's illegal actions are actually legal--and this is harmful info, imagine if those posts are left here and people see that--even if we correct it, that leaves the OP with conflicting information. We do not want people to come here only to get more confused in the process like that.

Someone coming in here posting threats, insults, or intentional lies about debt collection issues is coming here with bad intentions, and we should not be required to leave those posts visible.

EDIT--the duplicate post issue should be easily fixable--we have a function in the drop down moderation box to "Merge posts". We can just combine them to one place so that we dont have multiple discussions going on like that.
