What is the status of this company? I see their address is 2840 Hwy 95 Alt Silver Springs NV 89429, which is also the address to a Silver Shield Services (an incorporation company) that has a bunch of businesses under it's name that are revoke, permanently revoked etc..
I live in Pennsylvania and am having a problem with this company. They are threatening to debit my bank account if I do not pay them. See the email below:

This is a courtesy reminder of your payment for PaydayMax, Ltd. that is due no later than August 15th 2012 via Western Union Quick Collect or MoneyGram Express Payment. Remember, the amount of the transaction is $175.54. After you review this email and make the transaction, please call us at 1-855-883-2270 before 5:00 p.m. EST with either the MTCN you will have on your receipt from Western Union, or with the reference number from MoneyGram. Providing this information will prevent us from automatically debiting your checking account, which could cause you additional overdraft fees, both with our company and your bank.

As a reminder, once again, the Western Union information is as follows:

Go to Western Union and get the blue Quick Collect form (or go to www.westernunion.com and choose the Quick Collection option).

1. Company name: Credit Protection Depot
2. Code City: Offer (one word no spaces).
3. State: Nevada
4. Account #: 1437446743
5. Reference #: your telephone number

You can also use your debit card or various charge cards at www.westernunion.com.

Or, you can go to MoneyGram and get the blue Express Payment form.

1. The Company name is: CPD-OFFER
2. The Receive Code is: 4243
3. The City is: Las Vegas
4. The State is: Nevada
5. The Account Number is: 1437446743

Again, it is important that you call us with the 10-digit MTCN number for Western Union or the 8-digit MoneyGram reference number after you have completed you transaction. Doing so will continue to keep you in good standing with our company and prevent your checking account from being debited.

Thank you for your prompt response in this matter; we greatly appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Credit Protection Depot

I have already contacted the AG and FTC. The payment is due 9/10 and I'm wondering what remedy I have for this. I'd like to pay the principal amount of the loan (100.00), but every time I get one of these emails, it's a different amount owed.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Don't worry about paying a collection's agency for a payday loan. Send them a cease and desist, RR requested, stating that payday loans are illegal and uncollectable in Pennsylvania. Did you change your bank account after you got rid of all your payday loans? If not you better close that thing now and get a new account.

CPD is a bottomfeeder and their main business is collecting on the behalf of illegal payday lenders. In your case, PaydayMax is an illegal offshore lender. A Cease and Desist letter via CMRRR should do good to shut them up.

There are a few (conflicting) sets of contact addresses though, pick and choose:

I looked on Google Maps for the address 2840 Highway 95 ALT
Silver Springs, Nevada 89429 .

It shows up as a bunch of derelict buildings in the desert. What a surprise!

I'm calling the FID in Nevada today and also their business and industry department. I found a cease business order against these fraudsters from 2009 and I'm going to find out what their status is.
