Dealing with a legal pay day loan

I got an online payday loan from PayDayOne, which I believe is legal in Ohio. At the time I took the loan, they were permitted to do business in Ohio. I have paid around $380 in interest on a $500 loan. I want to pay back the loan but need a payment plan. Any advice on working with the debt collector to get this done properly?

Did you default and you're now working with a collection agency? Or, is this still current with PDO? They're a CSO in Ohio, not a payday lender. They're usually pretty easy to work with. In Ohio, they will split your current balance into up to 5 equal payments with no further interest or fees charged.

I still suggest you call them and set up a payment plan to get it paid off. They're easy to work with. Just don't agree to something you won't be able to stick to.
