I have a 900.00 loan with cash net usa. The payment is 158 twice a month. I have called them requesting extending the term of the loan so I could just make one payment a month instead of 2 and they said no way. Has anyone had any luck getting their payments lowered to once a month and if so how did you approach the company ? I live in Missouri and know the company is legal and I have to pay them back.

Thank god I haven't taken out a loan from them. It seems that they are quite difficult to deal with. Why don't you take out a payday consolidation loan and pay off this loan. By the way how much interest are they charging?

As they are legal, so you will have to pay them both the principal and interest. You may try to convince your lender and set up a payment arrangement with them. Otherwise take help from a trustworthy debt relief company.

Bad advice from both posters before me.

If you cannot work out an affordable agreement with CNU, your best option is to revoke your ACH authorization, tell them you're doing so to force the account to collections. Then, work out a payoff with their collections department.

Be sure you either close your checking account or have all ACH transactions blocked, otherwise, they may try to hit your account for the full balance.
