Good morning:
I found myself in need of immediate cash due to a financial situation and against my better judgement went with payday loans. I had every intention of paying them back until two of them started drafting out of my account BEFORE the agreed upon dates. I get paid on the 15th and the 30th of every month (they knew this) and they started drafting out on the 12th and 13th, which then caused overdrawn fees at my bank!
I have since closed out my bank account because of this. If they are not going to hold up their end, neither am I. I am now beginning to get calls and they even called my boss at work. Now, they did not give out any information other than to say it was a "Personal Matter" but I don't want them calling anyone and I really do want to put this all to an end. I just have NO CLUE where to begin. As I stated, I already closed out the bank account. What next?
Do you need to know who I owe to and how much? Any advice and/or direction would be greatly appreciated.

I am registered, as SPIRITUAL1216, but for some reason I cannot seem to get it to recognize that.

Payday loans are ILLEGAL in MD. You are only morally responsible for paying back the original amount borrowed, no interest or fees. Please list your lenders, amount borrowed, and amount paid back so far. If paid more than the principal, you are due a refund. In Forums section, click on payday loan help, then click sticky on how to deal with unlicensed lenders. Follow each and every step. You may also want to contact the Maryland Commission of Financial Regulation, 500 North Calvert Street, Room 402, Baltimore, MD 21202, 410-230-6100, finreg@dllr.state.md.us. They along with this great site will get you out of the payday loan trap. I should know I am from MD and am now payday loan free!:D

Thank you so much!!!!
I borrowed from
CashJar.com - $375.00 payback is $487.50 (made 2 payments)
MyCashNow.com - $480 Payback is $651.00 (made 2 payments)
UnitedCashLoans - $300 payback is $440.00 (estimated, now payback amount was listed)
I will check into that site you provided. Do you think this is something I can do myself or should I use a Credit Counselor?
Thank you again!
