Contact with Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner to check the legality of the pdl company. If they are not licensed, then you will be liable only for the principal. No need to pay them any interest or fees. In this case it would be better for you to close down your old bank account and open a new one. Ask them for a refund as you have paid them more than principal.
