Have been with T&C for over two months now and I must say I'm not a happy camper. My situation has gone from bad to worse and I'm beginning to wish I'd never gone with them. Since I've been with them, I've continued to have late and OTL fees totaling hundreds of dollars added to my CC accounts and I'm sure they're reporting to the CAs that I'm delinquent. I wasn't before and my accounts were up to date though I had a hard time keeping them that way. I could shoot myself for doing this.

Every one tells me it'll get better, but so far it has gotten worse. I'm considering filing chap 13. Another problem is that payment to them is more than I can afford. It started out at 61 a week and is now 82 a week. :(

Can some veteran DM people explain to me how this works? I now owe more than when I started! That doesn't make any sense! Can someone that has been in DM for more than a couple months give me some insight! I can't sleep at night worrying about this and I'm tired of working all the time. When does it end or does it?

Hi Scooter,

I was in your position a few weeks ago but if you talk to T & C they should be able to work with you on payments. It's when the original creditor turns it over the CA that they like to add all of the fees. I am in the process of disputing these and getting them reduced. Hang in there. Believe me, bankruptcy is not really a healthy option right now.

My problem was with the creditors wanting more than I can afford right now. I was able to give some more money per month. I was told they wouldn't turn the checks away and they wouldn't. T & C has done a fine job for me. I think my problem was more with the creditors because I was very frustrated at the time. I would give it some more time.
