Hello,

I have an account that was settled in 2009. The payment history is rocky at best. I have diputed the payment history on this account three times now and each time I do, they change it to something different. What may have once been 30 days late for a particular month may get changed to 60 days late. It was once reported charged off in December but I settled in full in October and they changed that date to October. I believe that was based on information I provided to the CRA. Each time, the credit reporting agency comes back and says the account has been updated. Also, the accounts payment history is reported differently to all three credit report agencies. I am repairing my credit and this is the most damaging information on the reports. I thought it would not matter much since it was closed and settled in 2009 but I have had someone ask me about this recently. What should I do about this account. It is with Beneficial and because they change the payment history each time I dispute it, I am beginning to think they do not have any informaton on this account at all. Can I request to see the information they are submitting to the CRA's and if they cannot produce it, demand they remove it from my credit report?

Thanks in advance for your advice.
