Well, never thought I would find myself in this mess. My wife and I make a decent income and were able to set aside a little each month. She was a contract worker working with the same business for years.

She went on maternity leave when our son was born last May with the understanding that her job would be ther for her in July when she returned. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We burned through our savings paying bills for 8 months while she looked for work.

She found a job paying much less than she was making before which helped us make our savings last longer. She finally found a job that started this past August but we were out of savings and used some payday loans to help bridge the gap. We were able to make a deal with our mortgage company and car lenders to help us get those things caught back up but now our paydayloans are threating to prevent us from making our mortgage payments which are 1.5 times or normal payments.

We have loans with the following

Paydaymax -Borrowed $1,000 paid back to date 1226.05
Galaxy Marketing - Borrowed 500, paid back 600
Blue King - Borrowed 600, paid back 636
American Webloan - Borrowed 1,000 paid back 1200

we are shelling out 1700 per month and just cant afford that with all of our past due payments.

Anyone have any thought on how to deal with these guys

none of these are legal.therefore you only owe the principle.this means two things for you.

1)you owe nothing further,and
2)each owes you refunds

go to soaplady's signature on how to deal with illegal lenders.first thing though is to close your current account and open a new one asap, but go to the sticky and it will all be explained.
