Hello, I am hoping you can help me with some questions about online payday lenders. I need to know if the following lenders are licenced in Florida, how to find out if they are, and what course of action to pursue next. I have the "extended" loan of deferring the payment until your next pay period which I think is illegal in Florida. I borrowed $350, but have already extended the loan for three payments of $105. The little info that I am aware of is that in Florida you are only required to pay the principle amount of the loan. I just need to know exactly what step to do if I find they are unlicensed in Florida. The companies are:

united cash loan
one click cash
loan shop online
loan star lending
cash net usa
canyon creek
TIOR Capital (they are no longer providing loans)

The last two lenders have sold the dept to a collections company that keeps calling my job. I really appreciate any information that you can provide. I am really ready to get them off my back and know my legal rights

*so over it*

All your lenders are illegal with the exception of Cash Net USA. They are considered a CSO. You will have to set up a payment plan with them. Usually, you can pay the loan in full in 4 to 5 payments. Click Forums, then click payday loan help, then click sticky on how to deal with illegal lenders. Follow every step.

Remember that the original creditor does not have to obey the FDCPA unless you are in Texas or Connecticut.

With regard to those lenders, as mentioned above take care of the legal lender (cashnet) first then handle the illegals.

There are a few steps which you need to take when dealing with illegal lenders. These are:

1. Paying only the principal amount
2. Asking for a refund if you've paid more than the principal amount
3. Revoking ACH authorization
4. Revoking voluntary wage assignment
