I have been in payday hell for over a year now. I truly wish I would have found this website a long time ago. I have overpaid THOUSANDS of dollars... and I am just to my breaking point.

Anyway... right now I have 2 pdl's out. One with Plain Green and one with One Click Cash. I would like to begin the process and send the ACH letters BUT I can't close my bank account. If I do I won't be able to get another account anywhere. I have overdrawn left and right due to this mess... and I have already been declined for new accounts. I don't know what to do. Any info or advice is greatly appreciated. You all are amazing and so helpful!!!

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried talking to the bank to do a debit hold on your account? Explain to them that you have illegal companies taking money out of your account. I called my bank (bank of America, arg) and I explained what happened and then I asked the lady for advice because she couldn't do a debit hold. She had a lot of experience because she deals with a lot of people who get these kinds of loans. Maybe your bank will too. Just tell them the truth!

This forum is awesome! The advice these people give out is great and you should listen and do what they suggest! I guarantee you will see results if you do!

Payday loans are disgusting in what they do to us!

In your case, you may have to let the account be closed out by the bank and then you'll owe the bank the money. Since these loans I'm assuming are illegal loans anyway, once the account is closed out and you talk to the bank on repaying them, that's it. Don't worry about the illegal loans anymore. The account will be closed out at that point & you'll have to go on in life without an account until you can clear your name with the bank. I know this isn't the answer you want but you'll learn a lesson hopefully & you won't want to use payday loans again. That is a blessing!:)

Did you do ACH revocations and give a copy to your bank?
You can set up a money market w/ ally bank or something for now to have a working bank account. You can use the check card / ACH withdrawal / check writing 6 times a month and ATM withdrawal is unlimited... maybe they will approve you

Have you tried going into your bank and sitting down with a financial rep?

If you go in and explain the situation, they may be able to open you a new account, and do a hard close on your old account.

Not sure if you said who you bank with, but I know from speaking with BOA threw my entire mess they have been VERY accommodating and the reps at my local bank are very aware of the legality and know they are illegal.

I agree - go talk to your bank -- My bank, even with the legal ones that I am revoking their ACH authorization from, understand that I am not saying I don't owe anything, I am just going to be the one in control of how they get their money from me.. The bank has been very helpful and understanding through this whole process.
