Pay Day Loan HORROR....Help!

I am a north carolina resident and have recently gotten myself in a PDL nightmare with a few companies. I am now being contacted by a Phillips and Roth, National Processing Group, Prestige Arbitration Services all of these in regards to payday loans I had. I had a payday loan with rockford, ssm group llc, m1y direct and plain green pay day loans. I have recently found that pay day loans are illegal in NC but these debt people are ON MY BACK. I have recently emailed all of the original lendors and let them know what I found in regards to NC law. What else can I do?? These debt people have threatened to have me locked up, judgements placed against me and everything. National processing group even said something about verifying my employment. This is making my life miserable! Please Help!!!!!

Don't listen to any of those scammers. They know perfectly well they can't do anything to you because the loans were illegal. I'd just wouldn't answer the phone calls from them anymore. Report them, too. Everything they tell you is a lie.
