I just found out that my wife took out a payday loan with Oneclickcash.com back in July for $500. She handles our finances and I knew money had been tight recently, but now I know why. They have been taking around $150 every two weeks out of our checking account, totally nearly $1200!
After I confronted her about it and telling her we have to stop this now, she says that we still have to pay $390 back for it to be payed off. So out of that $1200, only $110 was taken for the principal and the other thousand was for fees?!?
After reading some of the horror stories about this company, I am worried now that they will keep charging us even after we pay it off because they have our bank information. I can pay it off in a week (but it will be hard) but I feel that they have already ripped us of of way more than should legally be allowed.
I live in Alabama - what should I do to stop this? Should I just close my bank account and call it a lesson learned, or should I pay the remaining $390 and tell my bank not to accept any more charges from these people?
Thanks for any help,
J

They are illegal tribal lenders. I have one with them as well. I sent them an email letter 10/8 and now I can't even sign in on my account. It tells me that it's "unable to access my account". I borrowed $300 and told them I would back the principal in installments but they never have replied to anything. I would definitely send them a ACH letter and change your bank accounts. I closed mine and opened another one. Just tell you bank that it's got some fraudulent activity.
