I have several PDLs. My bank account has been closed by the bank. I have made arrangement with them to make payments via a pre-paid debt card on a pre-recorded conversation. I am a resident of the DC. All of my loans are on-line PDLs.
What can I do to pay back the principal for each loan on terms I can afford. Currently they want a payment every payday for outrages amount.
For instance I have a loan with USFASTCASH. They deposited 650.00 into my account. I missed my first payment of 195.00. They tried twice to debit my account. I now owe them 1, 071 dollars. They want 269.00 for 4 pay period.
The same thing is happening with 500FASTCASH. They deposited 550.00 into my account. I missed my first payment of 165.00 and I owe 912.00. They want 226.00 for 4 pay period.
After each conversation with the PDLs collection department to setup payment arrangement. I received two emails they sent me a letter. The stated they my payment was returned by the bank. They next was about our payment agreement.
In addition to the above is star cash, one click cash, spot loan, and discount advantage legal on-line payload in DC.
Help Needed:

Here is the deal:

All sorts of payday lending is illegal in DC. On top of that, all your lenders are illegal as well. Legally you owe them nothing. On moral grounds, we recommend that you repay ONLY the principal, no interest or finance charges.

Now since you are not legally bound by anything these people have to say, you are not obligated to set up a payment plan or any such stuff with them. It does not matter what they want, you are in control. You pay them when you please, on your own time and at your own convenience. Do not fall for any of the legal voodoo they throw at you. Stand your ground.

Time to take control of your life.
Good luck.
