One thing you can do, if you are worried about them debiting your account is put an ACH Block on that provider. At the credit union i use, it was a $25 cost to block that one name.

Send them the Revocation letter once again and threaten to report to AG, FTC and they will provide the PIF... worked for me.

I have emailed the request to them at least 8 times. I've faxed it several. I get the standard we got your email but so far nothing. I emailed them yesterday and told them if they did not respond to me by 5pm on the 29th. that the offer to pay the 120.00 which is what is left on the principal would be off. I told them already that I filed with the BBB, FTC, Banking commission in MS and Ok. Still nothing. Only thing I am afraid of is that I haven't closed my checking acct. But if they do try and debit I will have the bank to return it.
I too had sent United Cash Loans
an email approx 3 months ago they called me the other day and demanded I pay them 8xx and something for the loan of 500 plus all the other fees. I told them the loan was for 500 and I had already paid them 150 of it and that I only owed 350 which per my email I had offered to set up payment arrangements. That they had not responded. The woman on the phone put me on hold for about 5 mins and then returned to reiterate the same balance of 800+ and how would I pay. I told them I won't agree to any payment arrangements until we agree on the amount owed. She repeated I owed 800+ blah, blah,. I repeated that I did not owe amount she started again and I told her I was done talking until she could carry on a conversation and hung up. They called back again, but I declined the call. I sent another email and I'm sure I will just repeat the cycle.
I didn't close my bank account and they havent' touched it in over 3 months. Stay strong and keep after them.

I have sent United Cash Loans over 10 faxes and probably 20 emails. Each time I sent an email I would get a reply that simply said we are in receipt of your document and that it would be reviewed in the order it was received and that someone would respond to me within 3 to 4 hours. Mind you I've been sending emails since 10/26, and that is the only response I have gotten. It was a do not reply to this email thing. I offered to pay the balance of 120.00 via money order if they would give me an address. Still no response. Yesterday I fired off one last email to their compliance department that I would stop the emails and faxes and consider this loan paid in full since they would not respond to me. I also reminded them that on 04/02/2012 that the FTC filed charges against them to halt practices. Found that on the BBB website. Funny, I didn't get the "we are in reciept of your document" do not reply to email! I told them if they turned this over to outside collections I would cease and desist them. Hopefully, they have gone away and I won't hear anything from them.

You have tried your best to settle with them. At this point, I suggest that you refrain from sending any more emails. If they want to accept your terms, they will get in touch with you.

So today is the day that United was to debit my account. So far nothing. Although I offered to pay the balance of $120.00 they never responded to the emails or faxes that I sent, which was many. Before I revoked ach I changed all contact numbers I had with them. Hopefully, that will stop the calls from coming. I figure if they want the 120.00 they will send me an address, if not then they can pound dirt.

No they haven't. I didn't close my account since I had out some checks and actually still have it open. I had more trouble with legal lenders than I have with the illegal ones. I had Seaside and I revoked ACH and they emailed me and stated they would accept the balance of the principal and gave me an address to mail it to. I owed $42.50. I had 2 loans with Speedycash and they are legal. I sent ACH revocation to them and also spoke with them, they said they would not debit but did on one loan and not on the other. When I called them they had no answer for me but I was able to cover the one that they debited and set up a payment plan on the other that will be better than an EPP. I never got an response at all from United. I must have sent 35 emails and 15 faxes. I think that they got tired of me!! I did find out that the FTC has a suit against them that was brought up in April of this year. I found it on the BBB website. I mentioned that in my last email. Funny when I sent them the last email and let them know it would be my last and would consider the loan paid in full, and if they attempted to debit my account the bank would consider it fraud, I didn't get that automated response that someone would contact me in 3 to 4 hours. They try at some point or turn me over to collections but I'll just wait and see. I offered to pay but they didn't respond. ;)
