I borrowed 300.00 back in 2009 from a payday loan place, totally forgot all about it and now I'm getting calls from a place called ACS. They have been calling and leaving a lot of threating messages on my phone. Say they are going to where I work and my home. This place has not sent me anything in the mail. Says I'm going to have a warrant out on me and so on. I need to know what is my rights, I live in Indiana and they are from New York I believe. I have all the phone calls and numbers they just keep leaving me. They will not give me an address for them, just want my bank information and I said are you crazy or what. Thank you for your time.:)

Did the people calling you have thick accents which you had trouble understanding? I believe so. Do a quick search and you will find out that ACS is nothing but a scam run out of call centers located in India.
