My wife received an unknown name/number call on her cell today from a rude woman claiming she worked for INTEGRITY ACCOUNT SERVICES who were collecting for Cash New USA. She told my wife that I had taken out an online payday loan over a year ago for $250 and never paid it back. They told her if I did not call them today and pay $2700, they would file a lawsuit tomorrow. I called them and let them know that I had never had a payday loan through Cash New USA. They had an old address (that I didn't even live at in 2011), my wife's email address instead of mine and an old bank account I closed in 2010 that is where the "money" was supposedly deposited. I looked them up and can not find a company with their name anywhere, neither could the BBB. The phone number they gave my wife to have me call is listed out of NY (I'm in TX). When you call it, it sounds like someone's private cell and says "you have reached the voicemail of Nicole". They refused to provide a validation letter. I called Cash Net USA and they show I was never a customer. Who can I turn this in to?

This sounds like a Grade A scam. Ignore the calls and file complaints with the AG, the FTC and the county cops against the same and the number.
