The snake Patrick Leahy and his rewrite

Here's my question... why can't we just use regular FISA courts anymore? There is absolutely nothing wrong with them... if it's truly to go after terrorists or intelligence operatives, the agency is alone with a judge who has been read in and can grant the warrant. The act even states that federal agencies can wait up to a week before getting the warrant... it's absolutely crazy that we need anything higher degree than FISA. Look at the USA Patriot Act being used in only what? 20 something terror cases and thousands of drug cases... really.
