is Global a legit company to collect for PaydayOne

I have been contacted by a professional locator that has instructed me to call Global for a payday loan that was not repaid three years ago.. They have called my work, and all my family members. They have offered me a settlement offer... Should I pay them???? I have several post on here but no one seems to be answering...Please help.... I am in TN and it was an internet loan


PLEASE register with the forum and stop making 800 posts all over. This company is a scam. Do not pay them a cent - tell them to meet you at the local police station and they'll hang up pretty quickly. It's a scam - do not fall for it.

Also - keep in mind that we answer posts in the order they come in, and furthermore, just because there are 10-15 members online at once, does not mean they are all experts on legality of PDLs/collection agencies. Some focus on the BK forums, the finance forums, etc and do not answer your post - no one is ignoring you.

Payday One is a legal lender. If you really owe this debt, then you will be responsible to pay them both the principal and interest. At first ask Global to validate the debt in writing via certified mail. If they give you a valid proof, then you may go for settlement. Keep in mind that they can sue you because of non-payment of debt. So try to pay back asap.
