Hello-
I would appreciate any advice on how to settle my debts with these companies - 3 internet & 1 storefront. I have read that both cashnet & checkngo are legal and cash store operates in my state so I'm assuming it is too. What about paydaymax?...I have tried to set payment arrangements for all but paydaymax but still cannot afford to pay all biweekly with the terms extended to me. I am terrified of getting debt consolidation help because the few companies i've spoken with: Christian Debt Relief/PayDayLoanHelpers/AmericaDebtRelief have made me uncomfortable with intial conversation & blogs I've read w/people being ripped off by these consolidators has made me leery. My bank account is currently still open but I will close with the right direction. I just want to know if it's at all possible I could have a little more time to pay any of these because $2000 monthly is going to kill me!

Cash Store - orig loan amt $1750/owe 1851.47/ paid $1090/ but they want $379 biweekly payments for 10 addtl payments if I can't afford more towards the interest

PayDayMax - orig loan amt $660/owe $750.73/paid $240.73

CashnetUsa - orig loan amt $1500/owe $1721.57/paid $674.31/set up to pay $270 biweekly for 6 payments & $100 7th week

Checkngo - orig loan amt $750/owe $1065.31/set up to pay $177.50 bi weekly 6 times.

Lets start with the good news first. PayDayMax is an illegal offshore lender. You owe them nothing more than the principal, no finance charges, no interest. In your case, you owe exactly $419.27. You pay this whenever you please in whatever installments you desire, be it a dollar a day or even for that matter, a year. They are in no position to bargain with you. Do not fall for any of their governing law BS. Know your rights. The ball is in your court. Remember that when you choose to pay, do so only using a prepaid debit card or a money order. In order to deal with them, your first step would be to revoke ACH authorization is writing by sending copies of the letter to the lender and to your bank.

As for your other three lenders, all of them are CSOs in Texas. You should call them up and ask for the EPP. If the local office tries to give you the run around, call Corporate.

When you opt for the EPP, the interest is frozen and stops accruing and whatever loan balance is outstanding is split up into 4-5 payments and spread over months.

All of this should give you enough edge to recover your finances.

I've gone ahead and merged both your topics - please register with the site.

To add to the above, the EPPs may be challenging for you as they might require payment over pay periods, not months. So default may be an option and working with collections while you EPP one or two.

Do not use PDL consolidation - major scam
