I don't know how to begin. I have 2 loans out

greenwood holding $250 -$75 interest
hydra funds-$300 $90 interest and already paid $180

Im in illinois and already have a second chance account. I can't open another one . I am really embarrassed to go to the bank to have the ach's blocked but I am going to have to. I need some assistance. Any help would be appreciated.

Well a few weeks ago, I found myself in a payday loan mess. So I was able to close my account and reopen another one and sent my letters. Well I think I have to make an arrangement with usawebcash but greenwood and hydrafund, I am only agreeing to principal. Well Providence collects for hydrafund and I got a call. A lady told me who she was and they are going to take me to court. I told her not to call my job again and to go ahead. Then 10 mins later, I got another call from someone who claims he pulled the call and did I get threatened with legal action. Now I know they neither of these people are investigators or lawyers, just people who are trying to make a living as a collector. But I will not be bullied. I am already getting my letters together to send to my AG and also to the their AG. Just weird. But I am prepared for the calls and the fight. I am only paying what I borrowed.

You need to go to your bank and talk to the branch manager and explain your situation. Show her a copy of the ACH revocation you will be sending the lenders but inform the manager that these are illegal offshore lenders who will potentially ignore the ACH revocation....there is no reason why they wouldnt close your current account and open you another, Your account could be compromised and you are being proactive,

Make arrangements to pay with Hydra for $120, (unpaid principal) and for whatever principal is unpaid with Greenwood. Get an address for both and then send them money orders. If your bank gives you grief about closing your account, see if you can put your account on a deposit-only status, with them calling you before every pending withdrawal. Just an idea.

Both lenders are illegal. You repay nothing more than the original principal amount that you borrowed, no interest or finance fees. Revoke ACH in writing with the lenders and your bank. Revoke voluntary wage assignments (if any) as well. Once you are done, you are free to repay the lenders as and when you please, no need to get into 'payment arrangements' with them. Pay them using ONLY money orders.
