OMG!!! I am shaking right now. Im so upset. back in 2009 I had issues with online PDL's. VIP is one of them. After doing all my paperwork and letters and complaints havent heard from them. today out of the blue i get a call from 415-230-2996, she said they were Galaxy Capital Solutions wanting to know how i was going to handle a collection matter in regards to a loan from VIP that was never paid. I told her it is my right to have a letter giving 30 days to respond and i want that letter. I then told her she was trying to collect on a loan that is illegal. she kept questioning me on what i ment. i told her that her company is collecting on a debt that isnt due. and I want my letter. Any information would help on this company. the number shows they are in San Fran, but when i googled the company name its in Ohio,..


this was the 2nd time i was contacted and when i told them it was an illegal PDL, and California has a court ordered C&D I never hear from them. I guess it gets past to the next company. I keep file copies of everything even back to 2009 when this all started.

you couldn't get a word in because the doofus is a scammer that needs to be reported(which you did)and ignored which entails not answering the phone if the numbe looks unfamiliar to you.let it go to v-mail and then delete any messages knowing it's a scam.

Thank you, I am ready with my response to their letter. I think i will also attach a copy of the C/D order from the Dept of Corp in California.

I have been dealing with this company as well. I called them back today and spoke to a Mr. Clemens who stated that there are three complaints against my social security number regarding a payday loan. He wanted to know if I wanted to take care of this today. I said no, you haven't sent me the paperwork validating the debt. He said that the company did, and he can't control the post office. When I told him that I was not going to be taking care of it, he said that he will file and see me in court. I already sent my complaint to the Nevada Financial Institutions division, and I'm going to file a complaint the the ohio attorney genera and the FTC. Funny thing is, I have no idea who the company is they are trying to say that I owe, and trying to get a word in edgewise with these people is impossible... any other advice?

i also tried to request letters it doesnt work. I hired a consolidation company 123 settlement and they contacted them and actually had them sign a settlement letter it was great. i never pay collections or some random caller unless I have proof

since they are collecting on an illegal loan ignore them until you get the letter.btw i practically guarantee the letter won't show up as this smacks of bottomfeeder,but i could be wrong.i would file a new complaint regarding this place and then again ignore future calls until you get the letter which they have 5days to send after that ignore them completely.do that.

So it was 7 days ago i spoke with them and still nothing in the mail...i sure wanted to send them my stuff showing VIP closed my account as paid in full, plus the C&D order from the State of California.... I was ready for this one.
