Lenders are telling me they are parties to the General Agreement on Trade in Services so any state laws don't apply to them. Is this true? I live in AZ.

Thanks.

I agree just their garbage they are going to use to try to confuse you and get you to pay - I just wanted to confirm that they were offshore lenders...

I got that also. Illegal Overseas lenders in the Caribbean use that. Let them know your Az laws supersede any treaties the US has signed.

I had one of my loans with AMT. They sent me the same letter. Tell them your state laws of Arizona Banking, superceede any Treaties the US has signed. As your are a AZ resident, you are governed under state laws, not any treaties.

Just some general garbage they are trying to tell you to get you to pay - I would just resend your original letter explaining why you are revoking ACH and Wage assignment.. How much did you borrow from them and how much did you repay?
