Just a suggestion but ask your credit union if they by any chance can do what I think is a fresh start loan on your account - in the mean time they need to at least block your account from any other possible debts coming in to add to the problem, tell them you have recently learned that a loan you had and have already paid back is illegal and still trying to debit your account and that your account has been compromised. Have them place your account solidly on deposit only..

My credit union can't and won't do anything till my account is in the positive. I have written each of the payday loan companies telling them that I am revoking their ach authorization and will make payments by money order starting starting Mar 8th to give me a month to get caught up on other bills and such.

What about a family member. Maybe you can explain your situation and get help.

I called and asked family and they are unable to help. I just got a call from Charles from this company and he was no help, he just said I need to close my bank account as soon as possible. Only if things were that easy when your account is Negative balance!!!!

Are you able to borrow from your 40l(k)? I know this may seem drastic, but your situation sounds as if this may be the only way to go. Or maybe you could borrow from a bank or credit union.

You need to get in touch with your HR department. They will point you in the right direction on the process to begin borrowing from your account.

what financial group are you talking about? If you mean a payday loan consolidation company, we do not recommend them as most of them will cost you more money. They are in the business of making money with your money.

Just got off phone with the retirement funds group and they will give me a loan with my retirement account being collateral, but will be 3-5 business days till I recieve it. I hope my landlord will be understanding and patient with me as I informed them of this as well.
