I have 9 payday loans and do not know where to begin dealing with them. Payday loans are legal in my state but not 9 of them. I do not know if they are all licensed to loan in Indiana. I have already closed my original bank account. They are calling everyone, employer, husband, son etc. and I do not know how to begin repaying what I owe or dealing with the phone calls.

What are the names of the pdl companies? What state do you live in? If your lenders are licensed, then you are liable for both the principal and interest. But if they are illegal, then you owe nothing more than the principal. Don’t worry, illegal lenders can’t do anything.
