Today I am going to closes my checking account and start sending out my letters to the illegal lenders I have. Here is what I have and have paid so far:

americanwebloan owe 600 paid 540
paydaymax owe 510 paid $379.53
fast cash owe 300 paid $$180

The three above are illegal and I am going to send letters out to them tomorrow after my account is closed. What is the best way to pay off the principal that I owe them? I feel better with money orders but will they accept them?

americash owe 400 paid $263.22
net credit ( installment ) payment $173.15 monthly
Cashnet (installment ) payment 215.00 monthly x6
Checkngo (installment ) payment 489 monthly

I know that I need to pay back the four above because they are legal in Missouri ( at least I think they are ) My question is should I let them use my new account or what are my alternatives. If I use a prepaid card I cant get the funds there until the day after they are due. should I call them and ask for a different payment plan or some kind of workout plan/ Cashnet is using electronic checks and i have never had a problem with them but what Im worried about is if I give them the new account number that these places exchange information.

Please help. Anyone who has done this what do I have to look forward to after the letters go out and the payments are returned. If anyone has delt with these companies I would apprciate and advice you can give.

Thanks

Kate

As far as the illegal loans are concerned, you are required to pay them only the principal. Make your payments via money order because it is less risky. As far as the legal loans are concerned, you are responsible for both the principal and interest. In this case try to negotiate with your lenders and set up a payment arrangement with them.

Only reply via email. There is really no way for them to stop calling work...just let your employer know that you have been a victim of fraud and these calls are meaningless and to ignore them.

the first 3 as you say are definitely illegal. You can forget about them for the while you spend dealing with the loans that are legal. You have a couple of options with CashNetUSA and ChecknGo. You can call them and ask for the EPP wherein they are going to freeze the interest accrual and spread the remainder of your loan balance over 3-5 pay periods. If that routine does not suit your current financial state, you can just revoke ACH authorization and force the accounts into collection and then negotiate on the terms of repayment. As for the other 2 legal lenders, I will look into them and get you more information.

So the account is closed. I have contacted the 4 legal loans and have worked out a payment plan with them. As far as the illegal loans go:

USFC They have called my phone and work and left messages saying that the payment has been returned and I need to contact them immediatly. I sent them the same e mail as before revolking my ACH and that I would pay them principal only with money orders. Also requested address to mail money orders to.

AWL has also left me a message on my phone that it is immportant to contact them to set up payment arrangements.

Have not heard from the other ones. My question is what is my next move? Do I return their call which will probably result in harrassment or just sit tight and wait. And is there any way that I can stop them from calling my work?

Thanks for you help kate
