I foolishly took out a payday loan with Everst Cash Advance after my car broke down. The loan was for 750.00. They deducted several payments from my checking acct until my company suspended all overtime. The next debit they made put my acct in the negative. Before my next check I went to my bank and placed what I thought was a stop payment on all further ach debits from everst cash advance. To my suprise because I did not have the amt of the debit exactly right they were able again debit my acct and again place my accout in the neg. I went to my bank again and they placed a stop on all acct transactions with everst cash adv. For two pay cycles I paid them a little on my acct with the but not near what they wanted. For those two pay cycles no ach debits were made by everest, To my suprise this pay cycle I had a 832.00 ach debit from SCS Processing, I had no idea who these people were and that was my rent money. I immediatly called the bank and they tried to stop the payment but were unsuccessful. They were also able to tell me that SCS is another name for Everst Cash Adv (something I had already found out on line) Now I am not sure what to do. I have tried to check indiana lic for this co but have been unable to get clear information. I dont want this co under ANY NAME to debit my acct anymore, I will pay them but can not afford to do so in the manner they want

Close your account and open a new one as soon as possible. Let me tell you that you're dealing with an illegal payday loan company that deserves nothing more than the principal amount. You don't owe anything to Everest Cash. In fact, Everest Cash owes you money since they have received more than the principal amount.

What everest did was they charged you for the principal and the interest. I have a feeling you are done with them. If you try to sign in to your account with them it will tell you that the loan is paid off. I would close your account, and yell a lot at your bank for allowing the ACH to go through even though you had placed a hold on it. The bank should be refunding you the $800 dollars. I would close the account and cite their lack of follow through as the reason you are closing the account as well. I would also email Everest and ask them to explain. Here is the address for the person that takes care of things there.
