letter from usfastcash regarding settlement

again, a thank you to everyone for your advice most of my PDL's have responded that my accounts are paid in full after i sent them the letters i found on this site...a special thanks to Soaplady, Ohiogal, and Steveberris for the advice that i have seen on this forum. Wouldnt have had the confidence to do this without your help!!!! There is one company that sent me back an email saying that they will settle with me for $120 - i live in New York and PDL's are illegal and ive paid more in finance fees on this account than the actual loan. Why should i pay this $120? just wondering....here is the email below (i took out my last name and account#):

You do not pay them a dime unless you want them to. The so called 'settlement offer' is just a bunch of hooey. Ignore them.
