I have been receiving calls from Boudreau & Associates for a couple of years now, I have sent Debt validation letters to them ( Certified and return receipt) and allI got was a one liner saying that they have permission from HSBC to collect the debt.The SOL has expired in 2008. I live in Fl. No dates, amounts, etc.
Now they are saying they are going to take me to court.
Should I be concerned?

if this bottomfeeder tries to sue you use the fact that it is"time barred"meaning the SOL has expired as your defense.however since they are a bottomfeeder i wouldn't worry as again any attempt to sue can be dismissed by the fact that it is past SOL.i would send them a C&D letter cmrrr same as your DV letter.

that is how bottomfeeders operate.get the c&d out asap.then you can sue them for violating it.

I told them about the DV

I told them about the DV letter and the receipt that I have showing that they received it, and they deny that the person that signed for it even works for them.?!?! I am so confused....:(
