Shamrock Marketing 300
The Loan Shop/Sierra 500
One Click Cash 400
500 Fast Cash 300
Loan Point USA 600
JHS Marketing 250
Global Group Holdings 250
SGQ processing 250
East Side Lenders 500
It all started after I joined with DCC, that I received a phone call from a CA in Boca Raton, Crown Financial Group dba CFG and associates trying to collect for JHS saying I owed 624.00 and SGQ saying I owed 624.00. I started to do some research on CFG and low and behold their license in Florida as a debt collector has expired, which makes them very illegal. After receiving threats from a Mr. Diaz, wage garnishment, drivers license suspension, and law suit, I reported this company to the Florida Office of Financial regulation, the FTC and The AG office. This in turn prompted me to start investigating the other PDL companies as well. As we speak East Side lenders is currently under investigation with the OFR, because they are not licensed in Florida to make loans. It does not matter what they tell you about them not having to be and all laws governing are in Delaware, This is NOT the case. After I sent a letter to them, with help from you guys, they immediately turned it over to Alliance Asset Management( BIG RED FLAG of not being Legal), A CA for this company who is licensed in Florida. When the CA called me, I got all of their information and told them about the complaints filed along with case number as well as the investigators name, and they have not contacted me since then. I found out the next day at work that this company called my work before they reached me on my cell phone and spoke with my supervisor, was very rude and asked alot of questions and told her it would be in my best interest to them back. (FDCPA violation #1.I have also not received a dunning letter from this company which they are required to send within 5 days of initial contact,( FDCPA #2 ).Sent DV letter to CFG and associates( just to play along so they do not suspect anything) regarding JHS and SGQ 3 weeks ago, and finally received return receipt from USPS yesterday signed by the so called President of the company without a received date marked. Now a waiting game to see if they try and validate, very doubtful because these two companies are illegal to lend in Florida. Shamrock Marketing put money in my account without permission, I never spoke with anyone, or received any emails regarding this and my bank returned the money to them and I disputed the 90.00 debits which they returned to me, so that one is done. I called 500 Fast Cash to get an address and their license number to do business in Florida, and I received an email stating my account was PIF. Never even paid them a single fee. Received letter from National Credit Adjusters regarding Global Group saying I owe 430.00, this company bought the debt, never heard the first word from Global about them sending this to CA because they are illegal to lend in Florida also. Sent DV letter to NCA, and again do not think they can validate, no contract signed with this company. Also in letter from NCA it says the balance is subject to change. I will forward this letter ,if they can validate, to the OFR, because this is not legal either according to the FDCPA, which states it is against the law for CA to add interest and fees unless there was a contract between the CA and the debtor under sec 808 unfair practices of the FDCPA, and under the Consumer protection Act, federal law prohibits any amount be added unless such amount is expressly authorized by the agreement creating the debt or permitted by law. In this case there was no agreement discussed or signed by me. Last night received 2 emails from Matt @oms90.com , each one stated your account with was sent to National Credit Adjusters, then a phone # followed. No company names given only an applicant ID for one and an account number for the other one. It was signed Thank You FTPIC. I responded to these with since they are a 3rd party collector they must send a collections letter via USPS within 5 days, emails not accepted, and a letter of revocation of any and all ACH debits( even though my account has been closed and a new one opened) and revocation of any wage assignments including but not limited to affiliates, dba's and collection agencies assigned to these accounts. Dont know which companies these are ( have a feeling though it is JHS and SGQ because the other company unable to collect) but a copy of this letter will be my proof if anything said by CA regarding wage assignment rights. I am waiting anxiously for the letters from NCA so I can send a DV letter to them. Of course I did not receive any response back from Matt.I did have a response from JHS Marketing when I sent them an Email regarding Revocations from me, Amy wrote back and said this account was sent to FTPIC an outside collection agency and she gave me an email address of customercare@zardam.com for this company. I forwarded my email that I sent to Matt to this address also. I called One Click Cash and got an address for them to send an illegal lender letter certified mail as I have emailed them twice with no actual response regarding this. The address they gave me is the Niobrara, NE address on the BBB site. After a lengthy phone call with the investigator at the OFR, he suggested I do this. I am going to wait for any response from this company before filing any official complaints, although I did discuss this company with the OFR and they too are unlicensed in Florida and they have multiple complaints filed against them, any additional ammunition will help me when filing the official complaints. I did the same thing with The Loan Shop online which from my research is also LTS Management which also has multiple complaints filed against them with the OFR. I could not get an address from them so I used the one on the BBB site in Delaware to send the letter. I emailed them twice also with no responses. When I hear anything else regarding these I will let you know. Before I found out all of this information I settled with Loan Point for 780.00, in which I am paying them 130.00 a month for 6 months. I have already payed them a total of 670.00 including 3 fees of 180.00 and 1 payment of 130.00. From what I have found out this company is not licensed to do business in Florida either, but I am not sure of the validity of the contract I did sign with them. They are one of the companies that I did sign a contract with , and I have a copy of. Any additional info on this would be helpful as I did not ask the OFR about this one yet. I hope this information will be helpful to others in this situation and I will continue to post updates as I receive them. Oh and for questions I have seen regarding CSO's, I found out there are rules that have to be followed in Florida by these companies claiming this and are as follows:
CSO Fraudulent Practices 817.02 Statement to buyer, The CSO must provide a statement in writing containing all information required by 5817.703 and maintain an exact copy personally signed by the buyer. In 5817.705 waivers of rights are prohibited. If contract contains any waivers by the buyer in any part, then the contract is Null and Void and subject to violation. You can find this and much other information regarding these practices in the Florida laws. This may be helpful to those dealing with companies that are acting as CSO's in Florida. I also called the Department of Corporations in Florida and found out that all businesses that are registered with them must file a fictitious name affidavit if operating under any other name than the one registered to legally do business in the state of Florida. So if anyone tells you they operate under many names but are not registered under these names then they are illegal to conduct business under that name. That came straight from the horses mouth! Any additional info regarding any of these companies or responses to anything that I have written would be appreciated. Thanks again for this website, it has helped me tremendously.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I am also dealing with illegal pdls in Florida. Now, I have some idea about how to deal with them. Even if you have signed a contract with Loan point, you'll only have to pay the principal amount.
Already on the way with LPU
Thank you for the response, I have already filed complaints about LPU because after researching yesterday I went to their website and found that my state is not listed as one of the states they can lend to, it says apply anyway and we will match you with someone who can. The deposit and debits coming from account say Loan Point USA. Also FYI if you look at their State of Utah certificate it reads that this certificate does not authorize them to make internet payday loans to residents of other states.
Taking Responsibility
I do not agree with payday lending practices at all, but I have an issue with financially irresponsible people. I know that everyone is not good with finances, but at what point does one take responsibility for taking out 5, 9, 12 payday loans. Payday loans are self explanatory, meaning they get you from one pay period to the other. They are not meant to be used as a long term financial solution. So, now you can't pay them back and you want to try to find "a way out". Am I the only person that thinks this is wrong. DO NOT BORROW MONEY THAT YOU CANNOT PAY BACK. EVEN THE BIBLE SAYS DOING SO IS WICKED!

Let's not bring your book of fairytales into this, k?
First, unless you've been in it, it's easy to pass judgment.
People get trapped in this mess and cannot figure out how to get out of it. You borrow a couple hundred dollars to get you through to payday but then something happens, you get sick, or you lose your job or you have an unexpected repair or you just don't have enough to pay it back so, you pay that rollover fee thinking you'll be able to pay it off next time.
After paying that rollover fee 20 times and realizing you've paid back $1800 on a $300 loan and the company still says you owe them $390, you get a little fed up.
Or worse, you get another loan to pay off the first one, but it's a bigger loan and you can't afford to pay it off so you're stuck in the cycle again.
Do NOT pass judgment on people. You do NOT know their situation. These people aren't trying to skirt their responsibilities. They're trying to avoid financial ruin due to a corrupt, illegal ripoff.
If you don't have anything to say other than spouting judgment, you can leave.
i hate humanoids

Unsolicited payday loan scam
Nobody asked for this crap. I was looking for a small start up loan for a business my daughter is trying to get off the ground. No one does them anymore so I went online to try and find a lender that offereed what I waas looking for. I applied online to a company that advertised that if I was approved they would deposit the loan in my accounrt within 2 days. What I was approved for was a $300 payday loan... I declined the loan. Later I learned that another company had deposited $300 in my bank account and had deducted 2 $90 refinace charges before I noticed the activity in my account. The company is Mass Street Group.I stopped payment on the automatic deductions and have changed my bank account. These people are preditors. I asked them for an address to which I could send the original $300 and they advised me that my "account: has been turned over to collections. Now I am receiving threatening phone calls and they have called my work as well. They say they know where I live so has anyone else had similar experiences? Has anyone changed their phone numbers and filtered them out of their emails and if so what was the end result? I am still willing to return the original $300 even though I never asked for it. Truth is that the aggravation they have caused me is far more than $300 so they probably owe me. I am interested in your storys.
