They asked me what I planned to do about my loan that is past due. My exact response was:
"It has come to my attention that payday lenders must be licensed by the state of NY in order to offer loans to its residents. Since your company has no license in my state, the loan contract I have with you is not valid. Although I am not legally required to do so, I am willing to repay the principal balance of this loan."

His reply:
"Sir, but WE are not in NY"

My answer:
"Yes, but I am in NY State so the loans are illegal"

Then he just started saying "Have a good day Sir" over and over when I tried to speak more. I tried to slip in "Oh, so my Attorney General whom I contacted is lying about this?" and he just continued saying "have a good day Sir" and then he hung up.

Could this be a sign that I nailed their butts to the wall? What do I expect next from them?
