I was recently garnished from my checking account and they emptied it. I have been in the process of filing for bankruptcy and was wondering if this will make it stop
Someone has a judgment
Someone has a judgment against you. Filing bankrutpcy will result in a "stay" whereas all collection activities will stop. This is the type of question you should have asked your attorney.
