I have sent e-mails to all of the pdl lenders revoking my ACH authorization and stating I would only pay the principal amounts. Great Plains Lending and Mobiloans sent me a response closing my account saying it was paid in full. However US Fast Cash wants a settlement of the principal plus $165 due in one month. They claim they are not subject to Michigan laws because they are tribal. I also received an e-mail from Spot On Loans agreeing to my principal balance terms. I am very happy with the three who responded positively but don't know what to do about US Fast Cash. What should I do about them?

Thank you for your response. After receiving their "offer" of the balance plus $165 in full by May 3, I sent another e-mail stating my original terms which included the principal only made in 4 monthly payments. So far, no response. I also want to thank everyone on this site to help me out of this awful mess which has been causing me so much stress for 2 years! Your help will save me more than $6,000 in payments over the next few months. I can finally breathe again and pay my other bills!

Tell them either they accept your terms or they get nothing at all. They're an illegal lender and are lucky to even get the principal amount from you. Legally you dont have to give them a dime but morally you're doing the right thing. I'm from Michigan and dealing with this same lender...you gotta play hard ball with them.

I would send them a certified letter telling them exactly what you are willing to pay and when you will pay it. I dealt with them also, and I only paid what I had borrowed.

Thank you, I plan to stick to my guns with them. I have also sent the e-mail to United Cash Loans but have not heard from them. I overpaid them substantially and told them no more payments and I expected a refund. Good news tho...MagnumCashAdvance agreed to close my account and consider it paid (I overpaid them too). I really don't expect refunds but I am so overwhelmingly relieved at not having to make these payments! Still nothing from US Fast Cash.

Bank of America tells me even if I close my account an ACH debit can reopen the account! I planned to close it Monday but I'm afraid my social security check might still come through on Wednesday even though I changed it to another bank account. Will US Fast Cash, United Cash or My Cash Now still try to debit on Wednesday? I sent them all e-mails revoking my ACH authorization but haven't heard from either United or My Cash Now. I'm afraid they might try to take the whole amount. Anyone??

Here is an update on my efforts to get out of this Hell! I finally got US Fast Cash to agree to my terms on paying the principal balance only in two monthly installments. Just had to stick to my original e-mail. I closed my BOA account once my SS payment was deposited in my new account at another bank, none of the lenders tried to withdraw once I revoked ACH authorization. I also found out some great info from the fraud dept of BOA: They can still put a stop payment on a withdrawal while it is still processing and they have the exact amount which is what they require! This is huge and you just have to watch your account closely to catch it. Also, they have changed their policy and no longer reopen a closed account if they receive an ACH notice. I have not heard from United Cash Loans but see it is marked PIF on their website and are actually offering me a new loan!!. Have not heard back from My Cash Now. I am so thrilled I can't even begin to express my gratitude for this website and all the great people who are helping us out of this horrible Hell. Good luck to all, stick in there it will all work out!

Be careful with US Fast Cash. They agreed to my terms as well but then tried to take money out of my account weeks later. Even though we whave an agreement I'm getting calls now from collectors telling me "last chance before this goes before a judge..this is a serious legal matter..you have been warned" blah blah blah lol. I'm entertained by the calls now. I'm in Michigan as well.
