My name is Bob and I live on Ling Island in NY. I know PDL's are illegal in NY, but i needed the loan to pay my daughters college tuition.
I have a loan with ZIP19, it was only for $300 and I have to repay $359.94.
I missed the payment last week because of my stupidity.
I called them and they could not undo the ACH transfer in time. Here is my question. They are willing to wave the 2 fees regarding the returned payment if I send them the money by Moneygram tomorrow. Is moneygram safe? I wanted to mail them a certified bank check but they said they could not accept it. Seems strange. Below is the information they gave me for Moneygram.

Zip 19 is an illegal offshore lender. You owe principal only, no interest, no fees. Pay it back it back at your timetable...legally the the loan is unenforceable. Read the link in my signature line for information on how to deal with it. DO NOT waste money on a money gram. Make them give you a mailing address to send a money order.

What you should do is pay them via a prepaid debit card. And only pay them the $300. Do NOT do a moneygram or western union payment.
If they will not accept your payment terms, then do NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING!!!

Asking for Refund
I will ask for a refund and let you know how that goes. My bank is only giving me a years worth of statements. Not complaining, am greatful, but I thought they were available online and never kept them, but there is only three months. I have nine PDL's total, so wish me luck. Thanks for the help!

It has been a week since the PDLS tried to collect on my closed bank account. I have about ten pdl's. Two have sent PIF. Two have said they will send me to collections. I have not heard from the others yet. Is that normal?

With Zip19 you pay in full every pay period.
I have probably had about 15 loans with them, but the last couple were (I don't havve my bank statements with me)

(12/13/12 Borr. $325.00 paid $389.94 12/21);
(10/13/12 Borr. $400 paid $479.92 on 10/26;)
I live in Indiana. I closed my account today. Thanks for the help. I want to pay what I should. With this loan being new every two weeks, I just wasn't sure.

I have had several loans with Zip19. They do not do rollovers. I have closed my bank account, but have an existing account with them. Do I owe the the principal on this loan...or can i take off all of the interest I paid on previous loans from Zip19 to come up with the balance?
