Cash Call/Western Sky`

I have a loan through Western Sky which is being serviced through Cash Call. I sent them a letter explaining that the loan is illegal in Virginia and that the original amount of the loan was for 1000 and have paid 6 payments of 198.19 which pays back the orginial amount and that they owe me a refund of 189. They have not responded to my emails. I have sent a letter withdrawing my consent for ACH withdrawals and a cease and desist notice. They continually call my cell and work number sometime 2 times an hour. They must have research and found a phone number of a family member and have started calling that number as well. I spoke with them by phone and reminded them of the letter I sent stating the only  contact I will accept from them is by email. Told her the loan was through Western Sky ans she stated that Cash Call bought the loan. I stated that was incorrect and they were only servicing the loan. At that point I hung up the phone. What is my next recourse with these people. I can turn off my cell phone to ignore the calls but can't with the home phone or work phone.


Send email stating that you will only accept contact via email.  Also, do reiterate that you will not be paying another cent to them as they are illegal.

I received a letter in the regular mail today from Cash Call. It is a past due notice and asking for my bnking information to make the past due payment, which is now at $498 instead of the original amount of 198.18. I guess I should ignore the letter and wait and see or should I contact them by email again and reiterate my standing of not paying another cent to them. Please advise.

Since the loan has originated with Western Sky, so it is illegal. You owe principal only. Don’t pay them an extra dime other than the principal. Close down your old bank account and open a new one. File a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.

I closed my aqccount down back at the end of November. I refuse to give them any of my banking details. I have not recieved any calls the past few days and also have not received an email from them either.  I sent them a copy of a letter that was posted on here from someone else who lives in Virginia as I do. The attorney general sent them a response to their question and they posted it on here. Since I sent a copy of the same letter things have gotten quiet. Not sure what they are planning if anything. Guess I need to just wait and see, but I am sure they are not just walking away from this.
