I wrote earlier about a debit for $29 being taken out of my account by PRA with a phone number of 866-490-3102. However, when I dial the number they answer Bank Tech. I have no idea what this is. Can anyone help??

I noticed the same thing happened to me. I recently had to change all my bank info due to another unauthorized charge to my account. now it looks like this is happening again. I put fraud alerts with the credit agencies. I am now going to report these numbers and companies to the authorities.

PRA 866-490-3102 EFT has been debiting my account for: $29.86 on a monthly basis. I do NOT know who these people are and I NEVER authorized them to debit my account! They usually debit around the 9th of the month.

It's too bad we can't warn people to look at their accounts daily!

Same problem here same company and same amount. went to my bank and when they pulled up a copy of the drafted check, there was a second phone # of 866 903 9772 where i finally talked to a real person that told me it was for some kind of roadside assistance that of course i did not request. the fellow was a bit of a jerk but did finally tell me that i had 60 days to cancell and get a full refund. no answers as to how this all came about but i am "supposed to have a full refund within 15 days with no further charges". crossing my fingers. hope this is of some help.

pra is a roadside assistance company, they are very efficient and extremely helpful, i've been a member for years now and never have had an issue with the company personally, in fact i would recommend trying them out if you are unsatisfied with the roadside service you already have

I feel silly, I actually signed up for this accidentaly over 6 months ago, I called the 866-903-9772 and luckily the charge was reimbursable. The rep said it would take 15 business days. I think i signed up for this when i renewed my auto insurrance... in any case they where very nice with me, and I got the money back in just 3 days!
Kudos to platinum roadside.
I will be more carefull when purchasing "free" roadside assistance in the future.

Same thing here, $29.86. I have ads running, so I have money coming out of my acount each month for those. But I just started my cleaning business, so money is a bit tight for me. Therefore, I check my balance every day to make sure that I do not go into overdraft with my bank. I am now very close to that by just a few bucks. I do not remember signing up for any thing like this. I feel this is fraud and someone has obtained my personal information somehow. I am really pissed right now. I was already cutting corners just to make room for Christmas, now this! I called both numbers and left messages. Hopefully, I will be reimbursed, and I hope that you all are too.
