I have a payday loan with Silverstar financial for 600 and one with Mobiloans for 750. I've asked these companies to stop ACH withdrawal and they refused saying I agreed to their terms. Are either of these companies licensed in Mississippi?? What can I do to stop the ACH payments?

Both of your lenders are illegal. You owe principal only. Don’t pay them any interest or fees. Close down your old bank account and open a new one. You can ask them for a refund, if you have overpaid them.

From my experience, if any of those compaines do rollovers they are not legal, ms payday lenders can not rollover loans, you have to pay in full on the date it is due. Rollovers are not permitted. I had one with hydra fund (online) offshore lender, I did what the forums advised me to do, which was to send c&d letter and revoke ach and close account. You will need to close your bank accounts. Check out there forums on how to deal with illegal payday lenders Please. I am in ms as well.

Also you have to be licensed to lend in ms. If you cant find a license they are not legal.
