I have 13 PDL and can no longer keep making these huge pmts. I closed my acct and have made arrangements with some of them for repayment with a prepaid card. Most are not willing to accept a smaller monthly pmt and I had to enter into another agreement on a recorded line. I am still paying way more than I can afford and I haven't even called half of them. This is taking my whole paycheck and I can't even get my utilities or house pmts made. They are threatening me with legal action if I don't pay. I live in PA but these are online loans from other states. Can they take legal action against me if I don't pay?

in fact no pdl is legal in PA meaning you only owe the principle, and anythimg debited in fees or rollovers gets deducted from that.try to answer the following
1)names of each lender
2)amount borrowed from each
3)amount debited by each thus far

find that out before even talking to the lenders as since you closed your account you may not owe these places,or at least very little.some may owe you refunds so again before talikng to the pdl's find out how much was borrowed, and debited by each pdl.you will be suprised at how little if anything you do owe them.last thing PA is non-garnishment so they can't garnish, and since they are illegal the threat of legal action is just that a threat.
