ok so out of the 9 pdl loans I have here is the update since i have sent emails to these lovely people:

Anasazi-closed account paid i full
Great Plains- accepted my offer to just pay remaining principle
of $117
Jupiter-acceped my offer to just pay rest of principle $110
Mobiloans- accepted to my payment arrangement of $100 monthly on my principle left of $1000.

Castle Pay Day and One Click cash have been overpaid but they havent responded back yet.

Instant loans, Vip, Red Leaf, And Cash Call have not responded back yet. I will give it a little longer and email them again. We will see how they like being harrassed.

Same thing I am getting from them - I tried to make post earlier - it got stuck by spam, hoping it shows up later if not I will try to re-post. - I am just ignoring them and waiting to see what they do... I have a big folder of their mail... LOL - maybe they could save some money there...

You should always pay back the principle of the loans but do no let any of your other bills fall behind for the illegal lenders.  If you need to skip a month or 2 because you just don't have the money that's fine but you should when you have the funds send them a little until the principle is paid.  There is nothing that illegal lenders can do to stop you from doing this as the contracts are void and unenforceable.

I am not sure - from what I understand only morally obligated to pay back principal - on our own terms... I would think that means when can.. I don't believe any of them can sue... they might turn over to collection but being that they are illegal it makes the contracts void to begin with.

well i have borrowed the $299 a couple of times and they take $324 out your net pay check. they call it a line of credit that you can keep borrowing from as long as the amount is paid back the next pay period. But since I have been on here I have not paid back the $299 because I didnt know if it was like the payday loans and illegal. The website says its a tribal lending entity owned by the turtle mountain band of chippewa tribes reservation, north dakota, a soverign nation located within the united states. Really who comes up with these names????

bingo!! lol so i went to lunch and sent instant loans that email you suggested and they replied. they wanted me to call so i sent another one back saying nope im only communicating via email and if they want to set up arrangements to send me back an email stating they agree to my offer to pay remaining principle and my account will be paid in full after. Its funny though they say my principle balance is $120 and I know its more like $320. So lets see if they respond again....

It might be worth seeing what they are offering.. I have no dealings with them - their loans always seemed strange to me so I had never gotten one with them... I would send them a response email and see if they will communicate with you that way... that way you will still have everything in writing...

Like I stated above on the ones that you have not heard from  you can resend email to them if you feel better about communicating with them - add something like "I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with you to get this resolved, if you want your remaining principal you will respond to my email via email. If not then I can only assume that this matter is closed and my account with you is marked paid in full." What and when you repay them is in your court! But, you need to get them to agree to or you are just throwing money away, I would just send them the email and then wait it out. How long has it been since you started the process? The above amounts are the totals still owed after all payments have been subtracted?

You do know that they all received the original letters - correct? Just remember you are in control.. it will take time... I have been dealing with WS/CC and Plain Green since Oct.. just stand strong.. keep us posted on any progress... What did you get back form One Click and Castle - just telling you that it was with compliance?

I would just ignore and block their number.. It is up to you- You could send them a reminder email that you are wondering why they are calling you since they have already been notified that you will only communicate via mail or email. I personally would stay off the phone with them, I am sure a phone call will only frustrate you more.

Really at this time I think all you can do - I wouldn't let it stress you too much if they want their money at all they will respond.. And for the ones that have already agreed it is because they knew they were illegal and they will be fine with when you can send - like I said if you want send them $1.00 at least then you know you are paying LOL -:)

Im just worried which i know everyone says not to because they are illegal. But the ones that have agreed to my terms I wont be able to pay for a bit because im so behind on other bills because of these pay day loans. So the three that agreed to just finish paying principle, jupiter funding, great plains lending, and mobiloans who i originally said id give money to at the end of January I really wont have until february. Is that ok?? I blocked Instant loans usa's number last night and sent them another email. I dont have the list in front of me of th balances on the others they are at home. But I havent heard a word from any of these other companies. i dont know if I should just keep playing the waiting game???/

Yes, it is OK, just tell them you had a change and you will be paying- If you feel better send them a payment for $1.00 until you can pay in full, you are in control this time -..not them! Waiting is the game on the others, you can resend email to them if you feel better about communicating with them - add something like "I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with you to get this resolved, if you want your remaining principal you will respond to my email via email. If not then I can only assume that this matter is closed and my account with you is marked paid in full."

Instant loan obviously needs to be reminded that all communications are to be done via mail or email only any way..

When you get time later list out the others and we can help you try to come up with a plan, you really can't send the ones that are not responding anything until they agree so they are on the very back burner on low simmer..

Thanks so much. You have helped me so much I cant thank you enough. So I just got a pleasant email from Castle PayDay stating their usual bull. But they are trying to get more money out of me even though I have overpaid. They sent a proposed settlement want like another $300 from me but no way they are getting it. They said if I dont they will send to a third party collection agency and that I have to reply back to the Tribal Association. Can you tell me whats the best thing to reply back to them?? Im basically thinking to just say your not getting any more money and go ahead send to a collection agency??? Your additional help would be appreciated "HelpinAZ" :)

I am glad that I could help, glad that I am back on the forums too...

I would remind them that they owe a refund and how much, tell them if they want to go ahead and send to a third party collection fine, your will tell them the same thing. Not sure what the Tribal Association is, but hell cc them on the email as well I guess. You can tell them if they would rather just mark the account paid in full, you are willing to forgo pursuit of the refund.

This is what I last sent to Plain Green, of course I haven't heard a thing from them since, LOL "Dear Plain Green,
Do yourself a favor and mark my account paid in full. I am not paying you another cent - you owe me a refund of $1002.89, that I have paid on my loans with you. If you charge me off to collections I will not hesitate to not only cease and desist them, but make them aware that I informed you I am aware of the illegality of the debt and the fact that I will not be paying any remaining balance and that you in fact owe me a refund again for $1002.89. Cut the crap and save yourself the time.
You lost this one, I know that you are illegal to loan in the state I live in.
Love,
Your past customer"

What do you mean consolidating? using an outside source to pay these people? NO!!! These are illegal lenders... List out the ones you still owe and how much? you just need a plan that  you can live with - you have already gotten most of them to agree to your terms, why would you need a consolidation company?

Hi Helpin AZ , Yes these are the remaining balances minus what i paid in fees. I wasnt planning on sending any money until i get an agreement from them. I will do what you suggest and resend the above email to them.

I have not began the process of worrying about getting them off my credit - I will worry about later... You did the right thing with them as for calling your work.. You can file with the FTC, you can send a C&D - doubt they would follow... I would also block their number...

how do i get cash call off my credit reoprt they have me as 60 days past due. I did a dispute online with the credit report but is that all i can do? Also I just finally got a call from instant loans usa at my work. I told them not to contact at work and by email or mail only would i discuss anything. Was that the right thing to do??? How do I keep them from calling again? They also called my cell phone and left a message stating if i did not call back i would be in serious trouble.
