I have several payday loans and little to no money left every month after I pay them off. How can I stop this cycle and stop them from taking almost all of my paycheck? I live in New Jersey and am trying to do a little research on it but am unsure/unclear about a lot.

Paydayloans are illegal in New Jersey. Only morally responsible for paying back the original principal amount.

Yes listen to HelpinAz. I did, and made tons of progress with 5 out of 9 lenders in a couple of weeks. List your loans and start by closing out your checking account so no more payments come out. Then we take it from there with what to do. Bottom line as Ive learned from this forum, dont let them intimidate you or scare you. They are in the wrong here.
