Hello,

I recieved 2 payday loans one from

Idealgelt $500

and another from

Quick Cash ahead. $500

Both of these companies are now refusing to take my payment in full and will only let me do installments where they take a fee each time. I asked for my terms from idealgelt and they will not furnish them and they just continue to state the fees involved. Idealgelt has taken $250 dollars from me and Quick Cash ahead has taken 150 so far. I reported over the phone I wanted them paid in full and they said they cannot do that. It's really frustrating. Any insight as to if these companies are even legal in my state?

Thanks

Payday lending is prohibited in MA. You owe nothing more than the principal. No interest, no fees. Don’t pay them an extra penny other than the borrowed amount. Close down your bank account an open a new one.

Thanks for the help everyone!

It seems as if it is legal just with certain restrictions?

They say they are fully licensed in my state to do online lending. I am not sure if they are lying. Is there a way to find out if this is true? They said if I do not pay they will garnish my wages via a court system.

Thanks again!

-Jeff

What "they say" is BS. Payday loans are ALL prohibited in MA...none are licensed. The loan itself is NULL and void. Legally you owe NOTHING!!! Morally you should pay back the principal. They can say anything they want but they CANNOT garnish you because they will not spend money to sue you on a case they cannot possibly win. Stop listening to them.

All payday loans are illegal in MA. Communicate in writing with them only. Follow the link in my signature line for full information on how to deal with them.
