Has anyone delt with plain green and mobiloans, what were the results ?

So far for me the only thing Mobiloans did was took me off automatic ACH. I had a payment due Friday but I couldn't pay it because I dont have a debit card yet. I closed a bank account 8 days ago and opened a new one. Have to wait 14 days to get the debit card. I borrowed $700 from them and have only paid $140 so far.

I've dealt with Plain Green. I sent them my own variation of the ACH/wage assignment revocation letter that I also sent to MyCashNow, PayDayMax, and One Click Cash.

I really wasn't concerned with getting a refund. I just wanted to stop paying them and get them out of my account. So, I told all of them that I would forego all attempts at getting a refund for overpayments in exchange for my account being marked PIF. I got PIFs from all of them except for OCC (haven't heard from them in over a year) on the first attempt.

What are the particulars of your loan with Plain Green?

How long did it take you to hear from Plain Green - The last I heard from them myself to offer me a settlement on the principle only - but with the 2 loans I had from them I had a over payment of like $1002.00, So I sent them this response back to their email on the 8th:
To whom it may concern,
No, I do not accept this settlement offer. I am willing to not pursue a refund in this matter, if you are willing to mark this account paid in full.

The only additional response I got from them was the generic email on the 9th:
Your Plain Green loan is PAST DUE and we???d like to help you make your payment today.
There are three easy ways to clear this up and bring your account up to date.
1. Log on to "My Account" to select your payment option
2. Call us toll free at (866) 614-7103
3. Email accounts@PlainGreenLoans.com with your intention for alternate payment options
Just a reminder that, late, missed or defaulted payments may limit your ability to receive future Plain Green loans.
We sincerely would like to keep this from happening. So please contact us today.
Thanks for your cooperation.

I to wonder if I should send them something else on their contact page on the website, when we just respond to their emails do they actually get it?
Do you all think if I copy and paste all into one email to them that I will get some kind of response or am I expecting something quicker that it will come?

Plain Greens, Great Plains Lending and MobiLoans are all illegal tribal lending company (at least in my state of NJ, I believe they are also illegal in Texas--other posters please confirm).

I sent those companies ACH revocation letter on 9/17 and I got PIF from Great Plains after the first week, PIF from Plain Greens by the end of second week, and a EPP from MobiLoans last week. Those three doesn't seem to offer you a tough fight based on my own experience.

Mobiloans cooperates rather easily. Here was my reply from them:

Your correspondence has been directed to me for review and I thank you for the opportunity to assist you at this time in connection with your Mobiloans Line of Credit Account (???Account???).

We understand that all situations are different and would like to offer you the opportunity to pay the remaining principal due on your Account in the amount of $560.00. We propose the following payment plan to coincide with your pay periods as indicated on your Mobiloans application:

11/30/2012 - $112.00
12/30/2012 - $112.00
01/30/2013 - $112.00
02/28/2013 - $112.00
03/30/2013 - $112.00

To answer your questions regarding the legality of this loan, your Account Agreement indicates that your Account is governed by the laws of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, (the ???Tribe???) a sovereign nation recognized by the United States of America. As such, the laws of the Tribe permit Mobiloans to offer the Account in accordance with Tribal law.

In addition, MobiLoans, LLC (???Mobiloans???) is organized under the laws of the Tribe, is owned and operated by the Tribe, and operates exclusively on land owned by the Tribe. As such, Mobiloans is an ???arm of the Tribe,??? and entitled to sovereign immunity and therefore not subject to any state laws.

In any event, pursuant to your request, we have removed your contact numbers from our system and we will make no further ACH debits from your account.

Please reply to this email if you accept this offer to settle your Account and we can set up a payment plan.

Thank You,

Mobiloans Account Service Team

Did y'all who were successful with the ACH revokation have to close your accounts? I am on the verge of dealing with PGL, and I am not in default and do want to pay the principal but not the absurd interest. I have another very small PDL due in about 10 days with a legit company, and I'd prefer to not close the account so as not to have to work through that mess with the legit company.

I'm ahead on my payments to PGL, and only owe them about $200 of principal, but it would be pretty alright to break that into 2 months payments of 100 to give myself a break!

Thanks :p

I sent Plain Green the letter recommended on this forum last week... revoking any and all authorizations and that I was willing to repay the principal amount only with payments already made applied.

I received a response back from them within a few days, and it looks like they are going to accept it. I am so thankful for this forum and all the help from everyone! Hope you are able to get back on track as well!!

I have taken 2 loans out with this company and I like them. They are expensive but what I like is they add the interest and divide it into a number of payments that are all the same. That way for 3, 6 or 9 months of payments, you know how much to budget to pay them back and you know when it will end. It is almost like a bank except about triple a bank's interest but you get the money when you need it.

They are also an illegal lender -- you only owe then principal and if you follow the steps by OhioGal1 in the stickies in the forums on Payday Loans - on how to deal with that is all you will pay... no interest no fees... Not anything like a Bank - banks are licensed to lend in the state you live in and they follow the stated mandated usury laws on what they can charge for interest..
