IRS charge from CACHE LLC chargeoff

I received a notice of tax deficiency from the IRS, detailing a $7694 debt chargeoff from cache llc. I received no calls or written notification that cache had acquired this debt. Do I have any recourse with the IRS ?

Contact the IRS telling them you have heard nothing from this company nor have you received any 1099. Do you know what debt this is???
