Who is the loan with - I
Who is the loan with - I would recommend calling them and working out a payment arrangement.. Who is the original lien holder?
Got some more info!!
Call and check with the DMV - if Tio Rico has added a secondary lien - it may be under Auto Now Financial.. I don' t think more so now that they can repo, unless your primary lien holder authorizes it.. and you are current there, correct?
Basically that they do repo,
Basically that they do repo, but I reminded him that it was a registration loan not a title loan, he said he was unsure, on title loans he knew they would...he also said that if you were 4 payments behind, he was surprised they had not already done something...I would still try to talk to some one at their corp level, to see if they can't work out something...if you are in default I think they have to...I am posting from phone so more than likely will not be back on until tomorrow.
He wasn't sure on
He wasn't sure on registration loans either, he only knew about title loans..recommend calling corp office to see what they say as far as arrangements...
loans with
Ace cash

1 stop
buckeye title loan
Checkmate
Allied cash advance
I am 2-3 months behind I fell behind due to death in a family and Im waiting on a settlement check to get settle. don't know if they can repo or not. the original lien holder is exter finance Corp.
Ace & 1 Stop are the only
Ace & 1 Stop are the only ones I have dealt with - They allowed me to make payment arrangements. have you been in contact with the corp offices? Are you behind on all? Have they been in contact with you as of yet? They can put a second lien on the vehicle if the first allows..
yes
Yes I have kept in contact with them and tio Rico is the only company that I have asked if they will repo and they said yes but nothing has been sent out for repo. yes I am also behind in all and I am willing to pay just that right now is really rough. I'm not sure if they really do repo or not.
Tio Rico is one of the more
Tio Rico is one of the more sketchy I have see, have not dealt with directly since I didn't like what they told me over the phone when I called for initial info... Are you making any payments at all to any of them, How much do you owe them, Tio Rico, I would probably worry the most about.. from what I have been told yes they repo... What have the others told you?
True - I would just be in
True - I would just be in contact with them and explain what you can do when.. You may have to be in contact with the corp office - I am pretty sure that Tio Rico does repo or at least try...
thanks for the information
yes I do keep in touch with them but as like other company's they want their money.
tio Rico-4 payments behind
1 stop - 3 payments behind
ace- 1 month behind
allied cash advance-2 payments behind
buckeye/checksmart-3 payments behind
checkmate- 2 payments behind
But, now that you have
But, now that you have defaulted - they should be willing to do a payment arrangement to get done, are they still adding interest and fees? They will sue, they are all licensed to lend in AZ.. I am kind of at a loss - what are they telling you when you call?
some are
1 stop no intrest added yet ($80)
Allied-no intrest added yet ($108)
Tio Rico- $4 everyday intrest added
buckeye/checksmart-I have until next week
checkmate-no intrest added ($76)
Ace- no intrest added ($1113)
only one that will go into default is buckeye their only one that is telling me that. no other company had told me anything about repo besides tio Rico.
Like I said I would call the
Like I said I would call the corp offices and see what you can work out.. I think I am confused though - who is defaulted and who isn't - are the amounts in () the payment or the balance?
I am just not sure - they
I am just not sure - they should all be offering you some sort of payment arrangement since you are late/behind.. I would at least try that.. and if Tio Rico told you they would repo I would probably try to work with first..
He is more that likely right,
He is more that likely right, they have to get permission from the primary lien holder to even be allowed to do that -- most of the ones you have if they haven't done yet..
I do work with a guy that used to work for Tio Rico, if he is at work tomorrow I will ask what their policy was and let you know -- that way you will have a better idea on that one..
I would still think they all would be willing to work out a payment arrangement.. Have you thought about BK?
I haven't looked into BK
thanks, please let me know. I haven't looked into bk on my contracts from the loan lenders stated that if I file for bk I lose the car. I am still making payments on my car. I did want to file if I can. I'm not sure how it works if I have these loans.
I will let you know what I
I will let you know what I find out tomorrow, as far as Tio Rico. I am trying to understand - you said your paperwork you have from registration loans state if you file BK you will lose your car? I have only dealt with regular payday loans on a BK, not sure about registration loans, as far as your real lender you would just reaffirm your loan with them and keep paying. You might want to ask a BK attorney what they think, you can usually ask questions for free.
