I have received emails from these people about a payday loan for $200 i took out in october, I paid $60 every two weeks for 2 1/2 months only to find out I was only paying INTEREST and the loan was automatically renewing every two weeks, and to pay it off, i had to pay another $260 in one lump sum, as well as mailing them a letter stating that i would be paying this amount? wtf? i put a stop payment on the ACH at my bank and notified the lender that they would not be getting any more money from me, they sent my account to collections and now I have been getting phone calls from a man claiming to be serving me a summons. Every time i try to contact one of these agencies all i can get is the same voicemail forwarding service. I live in Arkansas and this was an internet based loan. I have contacted the office of the AG here in Arkansas but have yet to get a reply. At this point I am ready to just give them their money and be done with this stupidity. What should I do? the lender was "Mac Development Group" based in Nevada.

yes, close your bank account. the scumbags will use a different name to debit your account. close your current one and open a new one, or ask your bank for a new account number. some banks will do that. tell the branch manager of your situation. some tellers might give you a hard time because they aren't familiar with your dilema.

no. its just a threat to try to convince you to pay them. they wouldn't warn you about that. they would just serve you and tell you to show in court. are the loans legal in your state? if they aren't, don't buy into their summons. they wouldn't step foot in court because they know it'd be a waste of time and money. i've had summons served by credit card companies and have a lawyer on the case for the last 2 years now and it still hasn't gone to court. And that one is legit.

Everything I have read tells me that the unlimited rollover of the loan, compared with the ridiculous interest rate i was paying on it makes it quite illegal here in the state of arkansas, I am not sure however if the fact that this was an internet based loan allows it to somehow be legal. they have warned me about this summons 3 times now, i have yet to receive it, i suppose i wont worry about it until i have it in my hand. I appreciate all the responses I have gotten, it's set my mind at ease after being harrassed by these jerks for the past 2 months.

Most all of these Internet payday lenders are connected in one way or another, they create websites with different names, when in fact, they are one in the same. I can say with almost 100% certainty this is an ILLEGAL LENDER. though I prefer to call them Internet criminals. Let me gather some information first and I will be back with the verdict. lol

The only thing I have found that links them with another payday loan company is "Fastcash500", Internet payday lenders conceal their identity and whereabouts for a reason, and we all know what those reasons are. Just follow the instructions in my thread on "how to deal with illegal lenders".

STOP getting loans over the internet. They all have in fine print that if you do not pay the interest and more money every two weeks, then you keep paying just interest and the loan never gets paid off. They do not tell you this. It's awful I know!!! Every on-line payday loan does it. I would suggest paying the debt collectors because if you don't pay them off thenit looks really bad on your credit and they can take you to court because you signed a document that tells you how they take payments even though it's in fine print and you can't see it. They are definately the devil.....
