I'm new to this whole PDL thing, but i just received an email from one of the illegal lenders i have a PDL with..what's it mean?:

belinfo@cwbservices.net

Attention Customer:

This is a courtesy email in regards to the cash advance loan account you have with BEL Capital. This email is to inform you that your most current renewal payment was returned back to the lender by your bank. Due to the return, the lender will add a one-time $30 return fee and process both payments tomorrow if arrangements aren't made in a timely fashion today. Please contact one of our customer service representatives prior to 4:00pm Central Standaed time to discuss this further.

Not sure what this means or how i should respond.

It looks like they tried to run your payment.. and the bank returned it! Did you send them your letter to revoke ACH authorization.. if not now would be a good time to do - I would attach to this and send as a reply - I would date as 3 days prior to your payments due date. I would not call them and I would also respond in the email that you will only communicate via email or us mail.

Did you close your bank account and revoke ACH? It means they tried to get money recently from your account and could not, so they will try again tomorrow to get that payment plus 30 bucks for the return check fee.
I got these emails from my lenders after they tried and failed to access my closed account. It took 3-10 days for them to respond to my emails that I had revoked ACH.

If you've really revoked ACH authorization, then send an email to the payday loan lender. Inform them that you've revoked the ACH authorization and you would only pay the principal amount via money order.

I've already revoked ACH with then a week prior to this. I just received an email this morning from this lender wanting to access my account to collect a one time payment of the principal plus interest and fees. What part of ACH don't they understand. I also told them I'm only paying the principal but via money order and that'll I'll need an address to send payment too. They completely ignored that. How should i respond now?

Resend your letter again saying that you will only pay the principal via money order with an address. If they don't respond, then forget them. It will be their loss.

and try to stay off the phone with them - you want all communications in writing... The good news is your bank did their job and kept them out of your funds.
